What materials go into the VOCIER products?

Our products are handcrafted from the finest Italian leather and highly durable yet lightweight plastic parts from Austria. Each plastic part is using a plastic that best fits its purpose. For highly stressed parts we use a material from BASF which is fiber reinforced and impact modified. This material is much stronger and tougher than conventional plastic parts, but also much more expensive. The metal parts are PVD-coated which makes them three times as expensive as conventional metal parts, but makes the color far more durable. We only use original YKK zippers.

We invented a completely new and easy to use system that helps you to keep your suit and shirts in perfect shape while you look your best. This is achieved by combining innovation with traditional craftsmanship and creating a new kind of luxury luggage that doesn’t fit into any normal category.

Who is behind VOCIER?

VOCIER was launched by Michael Kogelnik in Februar 2012. Michael left a promising career in investment banking behind to turn his passion for well-designed and crafted goods into a business that combines innovation and superb quality.

Before starting VOCIER, Michael Kogelnik grew up in Austria and studied both Industrial Design and Business & Economics. He worked for DC Advisory Partners in Frankfurt, where he also met Vinzent Wuttke, whom he brought on board to build the company together.

Vinzent Wuttke grew up in Düsseldorf, Germany and attended Maastricht University. He worked at Booz & Company and DC Advisory Partners before joining VOCIER in late 2013.

Where is VOCIER based?

Our headquarters and design office are located in VIENNA, known for its artistic culture and vibrant community. We love the city for its rich tradition in tailoring and mens fashion as well as for its general quality of living.

Do you take wholesale orders?

How can I make a change to my placed order?

Please email us at support@vocier.com within two hours of placing your order. After the two-hour window has elapsed, we will try our best to accommodate your request but cannot guarantee that we will be able to change your order.

How do I know that my online purchase is secure?

We use SSL certificates for our e-commerce transactions. If you prefer not to place your order through our website, please feel free to email us at support@vocier.com, and we will be happy to process your order via email.

Shipping

Do you really ship free of charge?

We offer free world-wide shipping by DPD express. However, depending on your location, additional duties may apply.

To which countries does VOCIER ship?

Good news – VOCIER ships to almost every country in the world.

Shipping to Russia: shipping time is approximately 4-6 weeks and VOCIER does not take responsibility for product delivery.

How long will my shipment take to get to me?

We use a variety of shipping methods to ensure that your package arrives in time, including DPD and UPS. Delivery times will vary depending on the location of your order. Our distribution center is located in Hamburg which means that the quickest delivery times can be expected for Germany. You should expect to see your package arrive within five business days with our standard ground shipping if you live in Germany. If you order from outside of Germany the delivery time is longer and will be communicated to you directly.

Is my package insured during shipping?

All goods are insured against theft and accidental damage whilst in transit from VOCIER to their final shipping address. Once an item is delivered and signed for, it is no longer covered by insurance.

If for some reason a box arrives damaged, we recommend you either refuse delivery or make a note when signing that you’re accepting a damaged box.

How do I track my package?

When your order is dispatched we’ll send you an email confirming shipping details and tracking number.

Please note that VOCIER does not have any control over delays caused by destination customs.

Do I have to pay VAT?

You have to pay VAT, when shipment is

  • within the EU and you don’t have a VAT Reg No, or
  • within Austria.

For shipments outside of the EU we do not collect Austrian VAT. However, at VOCIER, we are one of the very very few companies that deliver DDP (Delivery Duty Paid). This means, instead of YOU going through all the paperwork and payments (which vary from country to country), WE do it for you. We pay all duties and taxes automatically! Your goods are never held back in an import warehouse, and you get them as smoothly as possible. This also means that every customer will pay exactly the same amount, no matter where they are.

We feel our customers are global citizens, therefore we want to ship globally with as little friction points as possible for our customers. International tax law is pretty complicated, and we want to make sure all our customers get the same hassle-free experience when ordering from VOCIER.

Returns & Repairs

What is your return policy?

We know how important happy customers are for our business. We believe that we design and produce great products, and hope that you enjoy your experience with VOCIER. However, if there is a problem with one of our products, please tell us, and we will solve your problem quickly and transparently.

  • All products including the original package can be returned within 100 days from date of purchase for a full refund. Please note that the product has to be unused and returned in mint conditions.
  • In the rare case of a manufacturing problem, please contact us directly, and we will make sure your issue is solved immediately.

How do I make a return?

What is VOCIER’s collection service for returns and exchanges?

Please send us an email to support@vocier.com. Once we have received your return request we will issue a pre-paid return label through UPS. You then have to drop-off the package including the pre-paid UPS return label at your nearest UPS service point. The service if offered free of charge for all our customers. Just email support@vocier.com.

How long does it take to process a return?

Once the package is delivered please allow up to 7 additional business days to process the return. Once the process is finished you will receive an email and the money will be transferred back to your credit card account.
